Description: Keidra stands at 5’8" and is well-muscled, skin marked with old scars, ranging from barely-visible nicks to a nasty gash on the back of her left hand. If that alone didn’t speak of her acquaintance with war, the faded Royal Army tunic that she still wore under her armor certainly should. Stringy, auburn hair messily frames her face, just barely brushing her shoulders, and uneven bangs threaten to obscure her hazel eyes. Her skin is rough from spending long hours in the harsh sunlight, but is slightly more tan than red.

Personality: To people who have only made passing acquaintance with Keidra, she comes off as your run-of-the-mill, stoic hired sword; However, those around her know that she is simply taking in the situation and waiting for the right moment to strike, whether it be with words or spear.

Though her reputation often precedes her, Keidra takes great pains to not bring up her deeds with the Royal Army, preferring that people see her as she really is, instead of what the oft-inaccurate stories and rumors say about her. That being said, she will not lie about heroic deeds with the Army, simply will downplay their importance in the matter at hand.

Job: Keidra has been working as a hired spear for Lord Varien for the past several months.

Weapons and Armor: Though well-paid under Lord Varien’s employ, Keidra still wears scale armor that is well-worn and looks as if it had been reworked a few times to fit more to a woman’s body, preferring to look like a warrior who has actually seen combat rather than a green patrol who is paraded around in shiny, unmarred finery. Any exposed sections of skin are covered with her Royal Army tunic or her leggings. She carries no sword or shield, but instead a longspear, strapped across her back. A utility knife is tucked into her belt in plain sight.

Bio:

Keidra Shepard hails from Coronas, where her father, a retired Commander from the Royal Army, decided to settle down after a long, rather prosperous career. To natives of Coronas, it was no surprise when his only child, a firey red-head daughter, left to find her own glory with the Army.

Those in the right circles (or anyone who was in Jovus or Coronas over the past year) has heard of the young sergeant who took control of her unit and not only dispatched an orc scounting party, but tailed them back to their source, preventing what could have been a costly ambush and the start of another war. The deed earned her a hefty promotion and her own squad to command, though she parted ways with the Army a few months following, returning to her hometown, where her reputation now preceded her.

Those who didn’t know of Keidra’s reputation with the Army know that Keidra came to Coronas several months ago, looking for work as a mercenary, but was promptly sought out by Lord Varien and hired as a hired sword, so-to-speak.
